You can control which email notifications SpareRoom sends you. You might want to reduce notifications when you are not actively looking, or turn them back on when you start your search again.
How to update your notification preferences
- Log in and go to your Dashboard.
- Click Notifications.
- Toggle the types of notifications you want to receive.
- Save your changes.
Types of notifications
Depending on your account type, you may be able to manage notifications for:
- New messages — an email when someone sends you a message
- New enquiries — an alert when a guest contacts you about your listing (hosts)
- Listing updates — reminders to keep your listing or room wanted ad current
Note: We will always send you emails that are essential to your account — such as password resets and account security alerts — regardless of your notification preferences.
